    Posting Items to Lost & Found

    When you click on the “Create Topic” button you will be taken to a page that looks like a blank email. Please note the following as you fill in the fields:

    1. Author: This is your KLA Directory name, and you cannot edit this; if you wish to be contacted at a different email or phone, note this in the Body (below).
    2. Subject: This is what visitors to the Forum will see in the list of “Topics”. Please use one of the following TAGS, followed by a name/brief description of your item: LOST | FOUND
    3. Body: Provide a detailed description of the item(s), including:
    1. Size, colour, condition
    2. Location found/lost
    3. Contact information if different from your KLA directory email
    1. Choose Files: click here to upload photo(s) of your item(s)
    2. Subscribe to topic: check this box to be notified if someone replies to your post online. This will automatically send replies to the email listed in your KLA directory profile. As the creator of the post, we recommend that you select either “daily” or “immediately”.

    Now you may click “Create” and your post will be added to the Forum Topics list!

    IMPORTANT: Please EDIT the TAG in the Subject line of your post (rather than deleting the post) to reflect when the status of your item has changed. For example, change the LOST tag to FOUND, or FOUND to RETURNED. This will allow other members to see that the forum is being used successfully. Administrators will delete posts after 3 months if there is no additional activity.
