Over the next few years, there may be significant changes coming to the governance, administration and financial structures of the municipalities within Haliburton County. Cottagers will be impacted by the changes through everything from taxes to road access to building permits. 

Commissioned by Haliburton County, the Affordability and Governance Structure Study, produced by Eastern Ontario Regional Network (EORN), concludes that the current governance structure is not financially sustainable.
